Meet Dr. Katie Chancey

Since I became a veterinarian in 2009, the part of my job that has always been the most important, rewarding and fulfilling is guiding my clients through the end of their pet’s life. It is an honor to help people and animals during such a difficult time.

I graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and my undergraduate degree is from Central Methodist University. I have worked in various practice settings including general practice, research, and emergency medicine. My life and work have been in the mid-Missouri area for more than 20 years - this community is my home. I have two energetic, kind, unique kids and our family interests include theater, reading, creating art, and enjoying the outdoors.
